On location with La Cavale

I will accompany you to 2 different plots, "Guarrigue" and "Soulière" where you will learn all about our terroir: Which grape varieties are allowed? What are they like? How do the climate, the soil and of course the "touch" of the winemaker influences the taste and identity of wines? How are Luberon wines becoming more and more popular and renowned?
Then, you will come with your guide to Vaugines with me, a small picturesque village, made popular thanks to the film of Claude Berri: "Manon des Sources" (1986). Be among the lucky ones to enter the romanesque Church of St. Bartholomew's. The construction dates back to the eleventh century; it was listed on the historical registry in 2000. You will then go to Cucuron and discover its hidden treasures, such as the pond and the remarkable century old plane trees. The reservoir provided water to the flour mills for centuries before being transformed into a beautiful decorative pond. This village was chosen to host many film shoots, such as "A Good Year" by Ridley Scott (2006) or "The Rider on the Roof" by Jean-Paul Rappeneau (1994).
