For 8 generations, the Champagne Vincey has been cultivating its vines on the most prestigious terroirs of Champagne. Their plots in Oger, Chouilly and Mesnil sur Oger are part of the six villages of Grand Cru Chardonnay, located in the coast of the whites. Proud of this situation, the Vincey family is keen to take care of its land, cultivating in organic (certification in process), for a greater respect of the grapes and the environment.
The house now works its wines entirely under wood and without malo-lactic fermentation, following the arrival in the exploitation of Quentin Vincey in 2014 alongside his father Christian. Today, the draw is made with a cork stopper, as was the tradition of the Champagne region. Once in the cellar, the bottles will rest for a long time on the lees to allow the Champagne time to express its deepest aromas. This choice of working wines and vineyards is the culmination of a qualitative approach, put in place in order to offer you the best of our terroir.
We open the doors of our estate Le Clos Vincey all year round, on reservation. We wish to share with you our know-how during a guided tour around the traditional press and in the cellars and chai in chalk tile.
