Visite Domaine Viret en Les Escoulenches, Saint-Maurice-sur-Eygues

For more than 20 years, we have been producing wine from COSMOCULTURE®. We have the ambition to make great wines with more than one hundred grape varieties and without using oenological inputs and/or by limiting the addition of external products. Our viticultural practices are very demanding, and follow the COSMOCULTURE® specifications. We have banned all adjuvants and additives from our vinification, with the exception of SO2 with a maximum dose of 20mg/L on our vineyard. We wish to promote our terroir, as well as the qualities and know-how of the people who work it.

We are located on a place full of history, from antiquity to today. It is in the objective to preserve values old of several centuries, to see millenia, that we made the choice to build a cellar inspired by an Egyptian architecture and those of the Cistercian cathedrals. Symbol of harmony in the Renaissance, and better known as the "golden number", we have built and thought every corner of our cellar with the "divine proportion", 1.618. The fundamental constants define the properties of the laws of nature. Their values do not vary in time or space.

We assume that wine is a living product that follows natural cycles and their influences. We have built this cellar in the continuity of our philosophy of working in the vineyard to put the wine in optimal conditions.
